About
TheFactory Angels is a series of angel-backed investment companies established to invest in promising early-stage startups emerging from the TheFactory ecosystem.
Through these vehicles, angel investors collaborate to support high-potential technology companies at an early stage of their development. The structure enables investors to participate in curated startup opportunities while contributing experience, networks, and strategic guidance to the companies they support.
Investments typically range from NOK 100,000 to NOK 500,000 per startup, targeting ownership stakes of approximately 2–12%, depending on the stage and structure of each investment.

TheFactory accelerator model facilitates a unique on-boarding experience for the startups, which allows the investors to get to know the entrepreneurs and their startups before we choose which ones we invest in.
We believe that by supporting the startups through the accelerator program, and afterwards working with the startups through a board position, we can help them reach their goals!
Our investment companies - We have typically invested from NOK 100.000 to NOK 500.000 per startup and normally take equity in the range of 2 - 12 % equity, negotiated case by case.

In 2016, TheFactory established TheFactory Angels I, as an investment company that invested in the participants of our accelerator program FintechFactory16.

In Q1 2017, TheFactory established TheFactory Angels II, which invested in the participants of the FintechFactory'17 & InsurtechFactory'17 spring class.

In Q3 2017 we set up TheFactory Angels III, which invested in the participants of TheFactory Fall´17 class.

In Q2 2018 we set up TheFactory Angels IV, which invested in the participants of TheFactory Spring´18 class.

In Q3 2018 we set up TheFactory Angels V, which invested in the participants of TheFactory Fall´18 class.

In Q2 2019 we set up TheFactory Angels VI, which invested in the participants of TheFactory Spring´19 class.

In Q3 2019 we set up TheFactory Angels VII, which invested in the participants of TheFactory Fall´19 class.

In Q4 2024 we set up TheFactory Angels VIII, to acquire Startup Norway’s Angel Challenge portfolio.
