Our story
TheFactory is a Nordic accelerator and early-stage investor founded in 2015 by serial-entrepreneurs. Our mission is to help build the next generation of Norwegian sustainable and digital companies.
Through a combination of structured accelerator programs, early-stage capital and long-term partnerships, we support founders from early ideas to scalable businesses. With deep expertise in selected industries and a strong network of mentors, partners and investors, TheFactory exists to increase the odds of success for ambitious founders — and to contribute to a more diversified, future-ready economy.
Our impact
Since our inception, more than 500 startups have gone through TheFactory’s accelerator programs, with 80+ startups and scaleups backed through our investment portfolio.
We run Norway’s largest early-stage accelerator, GründerAcademy, alongside industry-specific programs such as Sportstech Academy and TheFactory DefSec Accelerator. Our portfolio spans fintech, proptech, sportstech, greentech and impact, and our work has been recognized internationally, including being awarded Best Accelerator Program in the Nordics by Global Startup Awards. Today, TheFactory is supported by a strong Nordic network of founders, mentors, industry partners and investors.
